I didn't have much hope with Santa Clarita Diet. Not that it wasn't a brilliant show - I absolutely adored the first season - but whenever I begin watching a new series from its first season, it's either never picked up or immediately canceled due to poor viewing figures.
That - thankfully - wasn't the case for this show, and Santa Clarita Diet is coming back for a second season! I'm more than ecstatic to have another season full of hilarity between Drew Barrymore and Timothy Olyphant.
I still haven't finished The Sopranos (yes, I'm still plagued with my inability to watch one show at a time), but the news of a prequel movie of the series is absolutely amazing. Especially since David Chase is still attached to it; it isn't going to the hands of someone that may have the ability to screw it up.
Chase created an insane legacy, one that is going to be transferred to the big screen, entitled The Many Saints of Newark.
One day I'll actually go to a festival. I'm twenty-two, and I have never been to one. I've had opportunities, sure. But my anxiety always seems to stop me from spending a weekend at Reading or the Isle of Wight. One of the festivals I've always wanted to go to is Roskilde in Denmark, and I so so wish I was going this year.
I mean, it's heaven for me. Nine Inch Nails, Gorillaz, David Byrne, Eminem, My Bloody Valentine, St. Vincent, First Aid Kid and Oh Sees? YES PLEASE.
As much as I love going to American theme parks - Universal Studios and Disney World specifically - vacations spent at these places is stressful for someone with anxiety issues. If you're like me and need a break once in a while from the crowds at these theme parks (I mean, even the queues can be horrible), TheTimTracker has the perfect video for finding quiet places in the middle of the bustle of Universal Studios.
Hopefully, they'll do some videos for Disney World; they will definitely be doing one for Island of Adventure so it's probably in the cards.

I was originally going to wait to watch this series and the book the series is based upon (Maureen Orth's Vulgar Favors: Andrew Cunanan, Gianni Versace, and the Largest Failed Manhunt in U. S. History), as I did with the first season of American Crime Story. That was until BBC Two began airing the series that I had been itching to watch, so I caved and began viewing it weekly.
American Crime Story: The Assassination of Gianni Versace is absolutely tragic yet beautiful, encapsulating such a warm, kind man and the absolute horror committed at the hands of a narcissistic spree killer. I haven't been as touched as I have by a story -- especially since it's non-fictional -- in such a long time.
I'm also not that familiar with the fashion world, but this series really is spurring me on to discover and research the history surrounding Versace.
HBO is currently slaying it in the documentary department, and I Am Evidence looks no different.
When I went to see I, Tonya (review coming soon, I promise), the trailer for Game Night came on. I was fully expecting it to be another one of those unfunny, forgettable comedies that seem to come out every month. Maybe it's because I'm a fan of Jason Bateman, but I had to stop myself from bursting out laughing at both the concept and the stellar comedic timing established in the trailer.
And it's not only me; many reviews for the movie have actually been positive. Critics like The Guardian's Simran Hans and Empire's Amy West have praised its 'surprisingly zing, throwback studio comedy' and 'its clever, whip-smart script'.
Michelle Obama is one of my personal heroes, so to hear that she's releasing a memoir this coming November is fantastic.
Writing BECOMING has been a deeply personal experience. I talk about my roots and how a girl from the South Side found her voice. I hope my journey inspires readers to find the courage to become whoever they aspire to be. I can't wait to share my story. https://t.co/d7DxEG85NK— Michelle Obama (@MichelleObama) February 25, 2018
Performing 'Holy Mountain' and 'It's a Beautiful World', Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds killed it on Jimmy Kimmel this past week.
