Let's Play Pokemon Ultra Moon | Part 5 | Route 9, Konikoni City & Memorial Hill

Went back to the Lush Jungle to train my team, and to catch some more Pokemon to fill up the Pokedex.

Met everyone at the Dimensional Research Lab. Wasn't sure if this was a thing before; it was, I just have a really bad memory.

Professor Burnet is definitely one of my favourite characters. I love the relationship between herself and Professor Kukui.
'Professor Burnet studies the Interdream Zone, the space between dreams and reality. She is friends with Fennel from college; they became friends because they were both interested in studying dreams ... she is revealed to have married Professor Kukui of Alola. Three months prior to the start of the story, Burnet found Lillie lying on a beach, with Nebby in her bag. Ever since she and her husband have been helping Lillie find out more about Nebby.'
Explored the lab, did quick research by interacting with the bookshelves on legendaries such as Palkia and Giratina.

Gained access to Diglett Tunnel: 'Diglett and people worked together to finish digging this tunnel several years ago ... its location is on Akala Island in Alola, connecting to Heahea City in the north and Route 9 in the south.

Battled with Hau against Team Skull in the tunnel.

Finally arrived at and began exploring Route 9: 'A short route constructed by the local Diglett with whatever strength they had remaining after digging Diglett's tunnel ... Route 9 is a route on Alola's Akala Island, connecting Diglett's Tunnel, Memorial Hill, and Konikoni City'.

Came across two new locations. First off, there's the city of Konikoni: 'The large gateway at the entrance gives a unique impression. This is a city of merchants where you find lots of shops ... a town that welcomes the sea breeze.'

Then there's the area nearby, named Memorial Hill: 'A place where the memories of people and Pokemon linger. Many people from other islands visit this graveyard. Memorial Hill is a burial site for the old, mighty families of Alola. It is said to have been established at this site due to the proximity of the Ruins of Life to the north, the belief being that those buried here wanted to be laid to rest close to the Akala Island guardian deity, Tapu Lele.'

On the left, once you exit the Diglett Tunnel, there's a police station. Here, you can find out about the infamous 'Ditto Five'; certainly one of my favourite new aspects.

'If the player interacts with the police officer in the rear of the station, they will discover he is Ditto in disguise and battle it. After capturing or defeating it, the office will say that the Ditto was a member of the Ditto Five and will ask the player to apprehend the rest. As thanks for the first Ditto, h will award the player PokémonDollar.png30,000.

Went back to Route 8, encountered a kid that wanted to see an Oranguru. After doing so, his Dad gives you a rare candy for entertaining his child.

Received a totem Araquanid after 40 totem stickers.

New Mantine Surf record at Heahea Beach - Number 2, and now the champion of Heahea and received a star piece. Also learned the 'Lanturn 360' move.
