Guess what? I finished university! I’m finally a free woman. To a certain extent, as I haven’t graduated yet, but come July I will officially be free. But until then I can focus on this baby. Oh, how long I’ve waited for this moment to come.
This newfound freedom rekindled my love for my ‘Sunday, Sunday’ weekly recap, so let’s pick up where we left off however many months ago I last did this.
• Since I am now a free woman, I have regressed fully into a child and have rekindled my obsession with the Sims 4. I completely disregarded the game when it first came out due to the lack of pools, toddlers and re-introduction of loading screens. Thankfully, two of those reared their heads, so I caved. Apart from the loading screens, I am addicted to this stupid game. Not to the extent that I used to be however old I was when The Sims 2 was out (getting up at 6 am, sneaking down to our family computer and playing for at least 6 hours). I actually have some semblance of self-control now I’m 21.
My love for Lana knows no bounds.

Yep, that’s right, It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia has become my holy grail. I’ve just started season five and still cannot get enough of it. ‘The Gang Hits the Road’ has already made season five for me, so God knows what the gang have in store for the rest of the episodes.
• My bae Jenna uploaded a new video on Wednesday (24th May). There were so many things it could have been, but I was not expecting to witness a hair dye and cut that would have me on the verge of a panic attack. I have never been so anxious for someone’s hair in my life. But not only did Jenna to a A+++ on the red dye, but the cut looked professional af.
As for the attack at the Ariana Grande concert in Manchester … I’m still in shock. It was like watching the Bataclan unfold all over again. This attack was so close to home both in the sense that it happened in my country and at a sacred space for me – a concert. I’m always worried about security inside venues, let alone outside of it. I cannot believe that all those kids and their parents had to witness or become victims of a such a heinous attack.

It’s had a knock-on effect on the rest of the country
thankfully, through the government heightening security everywhere after the
terror threat got raised to critical. Even though that’s a terrifying thought –
that an attack was imminent (it’s since been brought back down to severe) – it
does produce a sense of comfort that we’re being protected even more so than we
already were.
I’ve got two concerts planned for June; Phil Collins at the Royal
Albert Hall and Paramore at Colston Hall. I expect that this attack will be
going through my mind at these gigs, as it did after the Bataclan in 2016. But
we need to stick it to these terrorist bastards and keep going to gigs and
other events. They will never succeed with their agenda, and they will never
stop us from enjoying ourselves.
