So … as I lay here writing this Sunday, Sunday in my comfy hotel bed, I am admiring the night-time surroundings of one of my favourite places in the world - Liverpool.
That's not entirely true. I am in Liverpool, but I'm actually watching 8 out of 10 Cats Does Countdown with my brother (a hotel-stay tradition of ours). Much more realistic.
I thought I'd be a good writer and bring my laptop along to write this post up, but fuck it. I'm enjoying this break so there are only really two things of note here. I'll make sure to list down what I do for the next few days to mention next week.
For now, enjoy these two random events of this week.

Thanks to my best friend in the entire universe, I began a binging frenzy of the CW show iZombie. I wasn't sure if I was going to enjoy it at first (I tend to find the majority of the shows on the CW cringeworthy), but I was totally surprised when I fell in love with it.
It runs completely on my level of humour, it has a fantastic grasp of comedic meta references and has a uniquely brilliant cast. I was going to mention who my favourite character is here, although thinking about it I can't decide between the main four -- Liv (Rose McIver), Ravi (Rahul Kohli), Blaine (David Anders) and Major (Robert Buckely). I do have more of a soft spot for Blaine and Ravi, though.

I
also cannot wait for this release. The drone sounds on Twin Peaks are literally my favourite part of the whole show --
along with the cinematography and Kyle McLachlan (of course).
